A model you can question

The rate is an input.
The result is arithmetic.

This laboratory runs on your device. Every rate is hypothetical. It does not estimate an asset’s actual performance, price, tax, or APY.

Interest, compounding & event order

Daily increment = invested capital × (nominal annual rate / 100) / 365. Interest accrues first; a reinvestment decision follows; external contributions arrive last and begin earning the next day.

Simple: P(1 + rt)
Periodic: P(1 + rd/365)n

Here r is a decimal annual rate, t is years, d is days per full cycle, and n is full cycles. These closed forms assume no contributions or fees and apply before capital exhaustion. The daily ledger handles those events explicitly.

Three rules, one accounting identity

No reinvestment keeps accrued interest outside the interest-bearing base. Scheduled checks at every selected interval. Threshold checks daily and acts when accrued interest minus the fee reaches the chosen threshold. Both reinvest only when accrued interest exceeds the fee.

Equity = starting principal + external contributions + gross increments − fees. Net gain removes all external contributions from equity. The fee is a hypothetical operation cost, not a platform tax.

Negative rates & partial periods

Negative accrual stays visible and never triggers reinvestment. Losses are capped at remaining equity; on exhaustion, invested capital and accrual reset to zero. New contributions can restart accrual. This model does not include borrowing or debt.

A final partial cycle earns daily interest but does not force a reinvestment or a contribution. Duration and intervals are whole days, using a fixed 365-day year.

What does the planned token do?

Crank Finch is exploring a token to support shared, reproducible cycle studies and future simulation services. The calculator is usable without a token. No token has been issued by this project; utility, eligibility and tax allocation are not finalized.

On-chain execution / SOON

Your scenario stays here.

Deposits and automatic reinvestment need a deployed contract, execution service and transaction verification. They are not implemented. No wallet is connected and no funds move.
